The state is required to implement a permanent Foster Care Rates structure and the Governor's proposed a new Foster Care Rates Proposal in his 2024/25 budget. This rates proposal includes a "once in a generation" BILLION dollar investment in support and services for foster youth.
The Foster Care Rates Proposal was created with feedback from many stakeholders, including many foster and kinship caregivers over the past couple of years. If you would like to learn more or share your support for this investment in foster care, please email: info@cacaregivers.org. |
